New dates on the Cosmere RPG release {Updated}

In a recent post on Kickstarter, Brotherwise Games announced more specific release date for the digital materials for the Cosmere RPG.

The PDFs and other digital rewards will be heading our way in late July.

Cosmere RPG digital content releases in late July.

For those who are not up to speed with the Kickstarter and some of the more recent news surrounding the American tariffs, here's a quick recap of what you need to know.

  1. The original dates for shipping all materials, including the books, were planned for sometime around September.
  2. Uncertainty around traffics set my the American government has caused a disruption in Brotherwise's ability to fulfill the printed materials both in America and abroad.
  3. Creation of the campaign and materials are complete, and were sent off to the printers, which are based in China.

Now, the original release date for the digital materials was listed on the FAQs section on the Kickstarter as late Q2 2025, with the caveat that it would depend on the physical production. To my knowledge, the production schedule of the books would have everything releasing sometime in September, with the digital content being delivered as orders began to ship.

Brotherwise seems to be altering their original plans to get content to the backers early, which I appreciate. I pinged Brotherwise via Bluesky:

@brotherwisegames.bsky.social I noticed in the latest kickstarter that the date for the digital content is now to set to late July. Is this an adjustment from what was planned with the physical release, or aligned with the original schedule?

I will update this post if and when they respond...

They responded! This schedule does match their original intention for the release date of the digital materials, but is still the most tangible timeline I've seen in print.

Despite the shakey news on tarifs, this is great news! It might mean that we'll all be adventuring in Roshar earlier than expected.
